Script (narration + on-screen actions)

Scene 1 — Welcome & landing (0:00–0:30)

Say: "Welcome to CapabilityLens™. This is your coach dashboard — the hub where you manage clients, run profiling lenses, and choose the right tool for each engagement. Let's take a quick tour."

Action: Show the dashboard landing on the Overview tab. Pause on the header.

Scene 2 — Header & Tools menu (0:30–1:00)

Say: "Up top, the back arrow returns you to the home page. The Tools dropdown is your shortcut to every profiling lens — TeamLens, IntentLens, Digital Leadership, CCF, DelegationLens, and, for Level 2 licences and above, the Contextual Leadership Profiler. Level 3 users also get Trend Analysis. You'll also find Orientation, Sample Reports, and the Platform Summary here. If you're an admin, an Admin button appears for user and licence management."

Action: Click the Tools dropdown; hover each item briefly. Point out the lock icons on Contextual Leadership (L2) and Trend Analysis (L3).

Scene 3 — Stats overview (1:00–1:20)

Say: "Just below the header, your stats cards summarise your activity — number of clients, active sessions across each lens, and submitted responses. This gives you a quick read on engagement at a glance."

Action: Hover over the stats cards.

Scene 4 — Overview tab (1:20–2:00)

Say: "The Overview tab is your default landing. On the left, Recent Activity shows your latest sessions across TeamLens, IntentLens, and Digital Leadership, with timepoints and response counts. On the right, you can set your notification preferences, export your data, and see your most recent clients. Click 'View all' to jump to the full client list."

Action: Scroll the Overview tab. Click into Notification Settings briefly. Point to Data Export. Click "View all" to switch to Clients.

Scene 5 — Clients tab (2:00–2:40)

Say: "The Clients tab is where you manage everyone you work with. Use the search bar to find a client by name or email. Click Add Client to create a new record — capture the company, primary contact, industry, and notes. Each client card shows the lenses you've run against that organisation, so you can see your engagement footprint at a glance. You can edit or delete a client from its card."

Action: Type a name in search. Click Add Client, show the form fields, then cancel. Hover a client card to show the edit/delete actions.

Scene 6 — S.C.O.P.E. tab (2:40–3:00)

Say: "The S.C.O.P.E. tab holds the S.C.O.P.E. Performance Profiler — a structured framework for running evidence-based performance conversations. We'll cover it in depth in a separate walkthrough."

Action: Click the S.C.O.P.E. tab; show the hub briefly.

Scene 7 — Learning Lab tab (3:00–3:15) [Level 3 only]

Say: "Level 3 licence holders get the Learning Lab — guided modules to build your fluency with each lens and the S.C.O.P.E. framework."

Action: Click the Learning Lab tab; show the module list.

Scene 8 — Client Portal tab (3:15–3:35)

Say: "The Client Portal tab lets you invite clients and participants to access their own reports and assessments, and manage who has portal access."

Action: Click the Client Portal tab; show the invite/manage UI.

Scene 9 — Lens Identifier (finale) (3:35–end)

Say: "Now the part that ties it all together — the Lens Identifier. It does two things. First, it gives you a structured way to reflect on the current context and what you want to achieve before you pick a lens. Second, it guides new users toward the right lens, or combination of lenses, to start with."

Action: Click the Lens Identifier tab. Let the intro text sit on screen for a beat.

Say: "Here's how to use it. Step one — select your role level and your diagnostic scope: are you profiling one person, one team, multiple teams, or an organisation-wide view?"

Action: Open the Role dropdown and pick "Coach / consultant / facilitator". Open the Scope dropdown and pick "One team".

Say: "Step two — choose your time horizon, your primary focus, and the main tension you're seeing. These three shape the recommendation the most."

Action: Select "Near-term (30–90 days)", "Performance & execution", and "People & behaviour".

Say: "Step three — use the optional refiners to sharpen the result. You can add up to three presenting symptoms, up to three 'mostly about' topics, your measurement intent, and the self-awareness level. These are optional, so if you're unsure, just skip them."

Action: Click 2–3 symptom chips (e.g., "Low trust", "Team dysfunction"). Click a "Mostly about" chip (e.g., "Team conditions"). Show the measurement and self-awareness options without necessarily changing them.

Say: "When you're ready, click Show recommendations."

Action: Click Show recommendations →. Let the three result cards animate in.

Say: "You'll get a primary recommendation and up to two follow-ups. Start with number one, and only add number two or three if the first result confirms a secondary constraint. Each card tells you when to use that lens and whether it's a public tool or requires coach or manager access. Use Reset to run a different scenario, or Try another to re-run with new answers."

Action: Hover each result card. Point to the "Public tool" vs "Coach / manager access" label. Click Reset.

Say: "That's the dashboard and the Lens Identifier. From here, use the Tools menu to launch whichever lens the identifier recommended. Welcome to CapabilityLens."

Recording tips

  • Record in a clean browser profile at desktop width (1294px) so layouts match what users see.
  • Keep each click on screen for 1–2 seconds before narrating, so Scribe captures the screenshot cleanly.
  • If you want a shorter cut, scenes 6–8 can be trimmed to a single sentence each; keep scenes 1–5 and the Lens Identifier finale full.
  • For the Lens Identifier, record one complete run end-to-end (role → scope → time → focus → tension → a couple of refiners → Show recommendations) so viewers see the full loop.
